A strong partnership between families and the school is an essential component of a quality education. In order to foster relationships among parents, students, teachers and staff, the St. Peter School Home School Association (HSA) organizes regular events to bring together members of the community.

The HSA co-chairs for 2021-2022 are Frank Rinaldi and Steve Fall. Frank is the parent of Julian in Grade 4. Steve and his wife, Rachel, are the parents of Gunter in Grade 5 and Olivia in Grade 1.

Some examples of HSA-sponsored events include (some of which are on-hold or have been reimagined due to the pandemic):

  • Back-to-School Picnic
  • Moms’ Night Out Happy Hour
  • Grandparents’ Day
  • Cookies with Santa
  • Celebration and Auction
  • Field Day BBQ
  • Trivia Night
  • End-of-Year Movie Night

We feel blessed to be part of such an active, engaged school community, and we welcome your involvement at these and other events. Parents at St. Peter School are expected to support their child(ren)’s education through the use of their talent, treasure and time. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the minimum-required commitment of volunteer time was 15 hours-per-year for two-parent families and 7.5 hours-per-year for single-parent families.  Given the limitations in place due to the pandemic, these required commitments have been suspended until at least early 2022, at which point they will be adjusted accordingly.
