New Pricing Structure
Cost: Fees are billed directly through TADS in advance, due before the beginning of each month. Contracts run September-December and January-June.
- Beforecare (7:30-8:15am, 5 days/week): $100/month
- Full-Time (4-5 days/week): $400/month
- Part-Time Aftercare (1-3 days/week): $200/month
- Enrichment Only: $50/month plus activity fees
- September 12-November 3, 2022: $225 per student/activity
Hours: 3:30 p.m. - 6 p.m., Monday-Friday. Special hours for half days (see below).
On half days before holidays, aftercare will be closed: 12/22, 04/06, 06/09
On all other half days close, aftercare will close at 5:30 p.m.: 09/30, 10/27, 11/04, 12/02, 01/20, 02/17, 03/31, 04/28, and 05/28
Typical schedule: Session starts with Aftercare students in their homerooms. The Aftercare teacher takes attendance, and students eat snack until 3:45 p.m. While older students in Grades 2 - 7 then start their homework, younger students play outside on the Lower Playground until 4:30 p.m. or longer, depending on the weather, with Aftercare staff and dedicated Aftercare playground equipment/toys/balls. After homework time, older students can play on the Upper Playground. After outdoor play, students return to classroms for homework, art, educational technology and other engaging activities.
Staff: St. Peter School PE teacher Kelley Allen and 3rd Grade teacher Genevieve Bent co-direct the Aftercare Program, with additional aftercare staff for supervision. Either Ms. Allen or Ms. Bent is on site each day until closing to supervise.
Do outside staff follow school COVID guidelines? All aftercare programming and staff follow SPS COVID-19 Policies and Procedures.
Are students kept in cohorts for contract-tracing purposes? No.
How many students in a typical Aftercare class? There are approximately 10 students/class from PK - Grade 4. Middle school classes are smaller.
