The Haiti Stewardship Committee was founded in the 2014-15 school year to strengthen the twinning partnership between St. Peter School and its sister school and parish in Cap Haitian, Haiti: Notre Dame D’Altagrace.

This important partnership seeks to not only support education in Haiti but also raise awareness about our sister school within the SPS community. We provide funds to support teachers’ salaries, the school lunch program, and infrastructure repairs at Notre Dame D’Altagrace. At St. Peter School, we cultivate empathy for our sister school, as well as educate our community about Haitian culture and traditions. Each year, the committee strives to meet these goals through various programs and initiatives.
