Volunteer Requirements

The minimum-required commitment of volunteer time is 15 hours per year for two-parent families and 7.5 hours per year for single-parent families. School-wide volunteer opportunities are published in The Rock each week, and class-hosted event volunteer opportunities are distributed via email from Room Parents. Many of these opportunities are available through the St. Peter School Home-School Association (HSA), which organizes events to bring together families, faculty, and staff. Learn how parents contribute to this essential community building organization. Please note: all parent volunteers working with or around students must be VIRTUS compliant. The process is outlined in the Parent-Student Handbook. Contact the Director of Community Engagement for questions.
