ABOUT

Ms. Anne Scattergood joined St. Peter School for the 2023-24 school year as the sixth grade homeroom and middle school religion, history, and Latin teacher. Prior to joining SPS, she was a substitute teacher and a middle school after care teacher at Holy Trinity School as well as an assistant teacher at Hoya Kids Learning Center. Ms. Scattergood earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University where she majored in the classics and minored in Spanish. She is eager to “impart her knowledge of history, the Latin origins of Catholicism and how the language influenced religion.” Ms. Scattergood is a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church.
